Lymphatic Wellbeing

Your lymphatic system cleanses and nourishes every other system of your body. Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a beautiful and relaxing treatment which addresses:

  • Healing from surgery and injuries

  • Immune system health

  • Digestion and bloating

  • Fatigue and foggy thinking

  • Detoxification

  • Exercise recovery

Lymphoedema Management

The aim of lymphoedema management is to reduce and control chronic swelling, improve the range of movement of the affected area and prevent infections. It can also assist with the management of venous disorders. Treatment includes:

  • Lymphatic Drainage Massage

  • Instruction in gentle movement and decongestive exercise therapy

  • Reducing scar tissue after surgery and cancer treatment

  • Lymphatic self care and education, in person or online

Oncology Massage

Surprisingly, the lightest touch can have the most profound effect!

Oncology Massage is a gentle, safe and effective massage technique that is comforting and nurturing for anyone with cancer, a history of cancer or in a fragile state of health. It can help to relieve pain, anxiety and nausea. A thorough case history is taken before applying this very gentle treatment and all contraindications are considered.

Low Level Laser / Photobiomodulation Therapy

Low Level Laser therapy is used to: increase the speed, quality and tensile strength of tissue repair; resolve inflammation and relieve pain and swelling.

The device I use is a Class 1 laser, safe for personal/home use and is TGA approved for pain relief in muscles, joints and arthritis, promoting relaxation of muscle tissue and increased blood circulation.

Since introducing the Laser into my practice both my clients and I have been very pleased with the results they have experienced in reducing scar tissue, improving lymphatic flow, reduction of nerve and arthritic pain and in speeding up recovery from surgery.

Relaxation & Recovery Massage

I appreciate that my clients seek massage for differing reasons. They may need:

  • exercise, injury or surgery recovery

  • help in managing a chronic condition, or

  • simply to relax and feel better

I listen to my clients and their bodies, applying pressure that is suited to the person and focusing on problem areas as required.

As a diploma qualified massage therapist I have training in remedial and swedish massage, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. I have completed additional training in pregnancy massage, craniosacral therapy and oncology massage.
